Manakamana Darshan (P) Ltd.(MDPL)

YESHU SHRESTHA daughter of Group Chairman Raju Babu Shrestha has joined Manakamana Darshan (P) Ltd in the capacity of Director- Sales and Marketing.

The cable car tarrif has been increased due to increase in various cost as staff salary, high maintenance cost, enhancement of its existing hourly capcity of 600 passenger per hour. The new rates would be effective from 1 Shrawan 2073 ( 16 July 2016).

With ever rising of the visitors in the cable car we have added three more Gondolas(Cabins) which is schedule to be put in service from October 2018. With this addition we can carry one thosand more per day.

Manakamana Cable Car has been awarded with Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence-2018 with a 4.5 rating out of 5. This is a fourth in a row starting from 2015. This clearly proves our customers' satisfaction and the standard of our services to be very satisfactory.

The 3 new Gondola has been put into service and was innagurated and flagged off by the Hon'ble Tourism Minister Rabindra Adhikary amidst a function at the bottom station.

Chitawon Co-E Nepal (P) Ltd.(CCE)

Chitawon Co-E Nepal (P.) Ltd. has recently signed an EPC contract on 20/11/2015 with Annapurna Cable Car (P) Ltd., Pokhara for the Sarangkot Cable Car Project. The company will undertake Planning, Design, Construction, erection & commissioning of the Cable Car Project.

Chitawon Co-E Nepal (P) Ltd has recently been awrded a contract of Residential Appartments for Manager by Surya Nepal Pvt. Ltd at Jeetpur, Bara District, Nepal.The construction work has been  recently started.

The project of National Cancer Hospital, Harsidhhi, Lalitpur has been completed recently.

The EPC construction of Annapurna Cable Car has started in March 2018 and scheduled to be completed in April 2019.

Sagarmatha Power Co. (P) Ltd.(SPCL)

The 50 MW Upper Marsyangdi Hydro Project jointly developed by SPC and Sino Hydro Resources of China scheduled to operate in October 2015 has been affected due to disturbance and blockade at the border area. The consignment of electro-mechanical equipment and transmission line material has been stuck at the Nepal India Border for past 3 months.

With the blocade being lifted at the Indo Nepal Border, the stuck consignment at the border has reached the site and those stuck at Calcutta is on the way to Nepal. The construction was delayed by 5 months due to the earthqauke and blockade and now work has resumed. The revised schedule of power generation is therefore targetted for july-August 2016. 

The 50MW Upper Marsyangdi Hydropower has come into commercial operation from 26th September 2016 and is now connected to the national grid.
